Hello Basilers , Just made a spearmen char :D i saw how smexy a dk was in a video, i had to make 1 Well anyways, Could u pros give a spearmen on his way to dk/drk some good/interesting tips/advice? Post some inspirational videos too if you would be so kind. Thanks

uhh...so pa is bad...and i should be hybrid? :D So far i've got 19 spear mastery, 6 spear booster, 3 iron will... where do i go from there?:o max hb then max pa mastery?:/ Im planning to buy a maple impaler(75+att) that i will use to lv 64 then ima switch to a 100+ atk maple soul spear. Then uhh....i dunno....O_o

Who said PAs were bad? I'd max PA mastery and get some booster before maxing HB. HB isn't that useful at lower levels.

lets you transition to honsters faster, which i think is nice besides, noobs in cpq seem to like hb for some reason, even with the bajillions of potions you should be generating by the time you have decent hb haha

PAs become useless? Since when? I still use my PA at gobies, himes, and Quietus even did some tests and came up with PAs can get more exp at Time temple than spears can. On top of that Dragon's blood saves you like 200k mesos every 800 minutes. Do you know why you're broke as hell burning honsters? BECAUSE YOU DON'T USE A POLEARM. You've never even tried being hybrid, so shut your trap and stop being so ignorant.

To add on duskreaper's excellent rant, if nexon releases some high lvled training maps in the future with mobs of 4+ on them, a hybrid will be able to whip out his polearm and train way more efficiently than a pure spear user.

Hm..PA's are NOT expensive. Only like THREE out of the total 40+ are expensive kid. Out of those 40+, you will NEVER get your hands on at least 5 of them. This being said: You don't NEED a Scorpio; you'd be PQ'ing through the 40's in a day. You don't NEED a Tuna; you'd be PQ'ing through the pre-30's in 6hours. You don't NEED a Scrolled Surfboard; you're going to sell it anyways. You don't NEED a Crimson Arcglaive; the Zedbug looks better and is more efficient cost-wise. You don't NEED a godly PA; you're not a main attacker or doing intensive DPM anywhere before 100. Heck, the 100%'d Maple Karstan is better than ALL spears until late 9x, or maybe even 100. Jeeze, you could even Crog for those new Bain/Balrog weapons. They are pretty decent, and have 8slots. All this could be done around 10 times before affording one of those REPLACEABLE IN A DAY type of weapons. Holy crap, you can even go Hybrid without ever using a Polearm, nothing is sacrificed. Summary: POLEARMS ARE WAY MORE EFFICIENT THAN SPEARS DURING TRAINING. PRICE DOESN'T MATTER CAUSE THERE ARE CHEAPER SUBSTITUTES.

Warrior Elixers > Dragons Blood pls. Why? The elixer cannot be dispelled by 1/1 or Dispel. ./enddragonblood Yes, the cast time gets incredible annoying, and I would know, I'm a pure spear. And for carrying two weapons, you shouldn't need to. You'll be using a polearm for 30-130, spear the rest of the way. And you can still pull out that polearm later, for future training spots. Really guys, just admit it. Hybrid >Pure. Me and joe even agree, what more is there to say?
