Gunslinger = Fun?

So i've been thinking about making a gunslinger because i can't stand training my TB to get Corkscrew Blow. So i Wanna know how much fun is being a gunslinger? I probably wont get him past 50 but thats ok cause i'm not really a damage freak. So could someone please tell how fun they are. *Just a quick note, i am only making one to occupy my time until evan comes out*

It gets boring. Trust me. Most slingers quit before 3rd. But if you have the drive, I say GO FOR IT<3

I would make one after the update where they can shoot up close instead of bashing them. It way more fun then.

They are actually really fun for a while but get boring and frustrating quickly. I made my slinger and have created 2 other characters outlvling my slinger

Personally, I don't find them to be very much fun... 1st and 2nd job, I really like their fast attacks, jump attack, and mobility, but their damage is unbearably low and leveling is frustratingly hard. Then in 3rd job, their attack basically gets slower, and they spend the longest time sniping newts and spamming burst fire. In 4th job, when gunslinger damage becomes actually good, they're pretty much restricted to a breaking ship with essentially no speed or jump, and are relatively weak to begin with when not on the ship. My problem with gunslingers is that in 1st and 2nd job, when I really do enjoy gunslinger gameplay, the damage is just too low, and I just don't have the patience for that. And when they finally reach 4th job, they're really strong, but their mobility is outclassed by NLs and the ship pretty much takes away what I like about their gameplay, which is the jump attack and mobility.

They're fun until lvl 100. Since you're just gonna get it to 50, they're VERY fun IMO.
