| Hey, so i finally killed my first bf with my drk friend! I was using my nibleheim, a normal speed sword, and when i pinned bf, the invincibility frames on bf were insanely long... and i'm starting to think that it's because my sword is too slow to make 2 shots inbetween each set of invincibility frames. i have a 115 stonetooth right now- is it a better bf weapon? or am i doing it wrong? here is what i did: pinned-> faces away-> hit -> pause ~.75 seconds-> hit again i take zero hits doing that unless one of my skill casts takes too long and it breaks out of pin, but it's insanely slow(~20 mins?)! i noticed that it's possible to keep your distance and take the 1 damage attack(while skipping a lot of the invincibility frames)- i see this in the youtube videos, but when i try doing that i get hit with touch damage incredibly often. and without hb in future bf fights, i have to hit the pot button twice to make up for the damage i take from bf. is there any other special technique i should be aware of? |

| Okay, so the trick is to get close enough to bigfoot that it spams it's stomp attack, but not too close that you touch it. That's where stance comes in. You can stay in your spot without touching the bigfoot for a long time. The spot however is quite specific, watch youtube videos and watch where they stand in relation to the side of screen. I personally stand on the rock closest to the pinned bigfoot. I'll try to post a SS. here http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e162/jigglyjello3467/bigfoot.jpg Also use power elixirs as potions, they will save your life. |
alright, will do. that's handy because i've saved around 600 power elixers on my mule and haven't figured out a use for them. and just wondering, were you doing full bf leech in that ss? |

| Definately use pots that will heal you 100% of its touch damage. I HP washed enough so a Ginger Ale would be enough to heal 100% pretty early on. Saves having to find and buy power elixers for a rediculous price in the FM. For me, I just find the right distance and spam away Brandish. It takes a bit less then 10 mins. Also if you are using an AutoHP pot, make sure you are still keeping an eye on your health, as especially when you buff, AutoHP can fail quite often and 2 hits=dead. EDIT: But most of all, Practise! The way I figured out my technique was just buy trying it. Its not gonna be perfect right away and you will die a few times but just keep at it. |

| I kinda didn't want to make a new thread about this but, what's the actual calculated touch damage from Bigfoot? 11.5k? Cause i was wondering, can DrK's Zerk BF while in that stance spot provided they have 30k hp? Or would that be abit hard to zerk in that position? |
DrKs can serk bigfoot in that spot regardless of HP, and the ones who can survive with serk would usually just switch to non-% potions. However, the ones who can't survive one hit while serking would tend to stand a bit farther away and time their attacks better. |

| theres two ways of using 40% ginseng roots. if you got max hp you can set it high enough to survive with or without hb, regardless, allowing you to afk, and do whatever you want. party arrangements, contacting leechers and wahtever you might need. or even switch characters. its a higher setting with a smaller window of usable hp between autopotting and being over potted. then theres lower settings to open up that window but on occasion the autopot will pot too little or not trigger at all leaving you with 9000-9999 hp and you'll get stomped lol. this lower setting usually requires no use of sacrifice whiel the higher setting does since it'll always leave you with 16-18k hp. |
