As the title says, I'm finally going back to my 4 year old ice lightning Anyways, its been 2-3 years since I've played and the last "good" training spot for my level i knew was mysterious path 3. Besides that I was just cold beaming red drakes for 10-15 levels :D I have zero mesos but i can scrap up pot money, but upgrading is out of the options. Basically, for an "eh" low-luk mage, where could i train? Mp3 is still awesome, but I feel like saving pots and freezing things. Also, what level ice strike replaces lightning? In terms of damage. Any other advice is greatly appreciated, and I am aiming for 4th :D

Damage-wise, Ice Strike won't beat out Thunderbolt on neutral until it's level 16+. The thing that bugged me more about IS pre-level 16 though was it's range. I found it terrible before level 10, tolerable until 16, actually useable past there. Training-wise these days I heard MP3 was your best bet until Ice strike stopped sucking, at which point you could head to Ice-weak things like Birks/Kents. I dunno for sure though, when I was level 71 way back I was at hot sands. >_>

MP3 is good until lvl ~75+. You can try Birks using Cold Beam. Red Kents and Firebrands are good from lvl 77/78~85+. Gallops are good from lvl 85-120+. For raw damage on neutral monsters, Ice Strike > Thunderbolt at around lvl 20. At lvl 20, Ice Strike gets 45% mastery and higher base attack which is about the same damage as Ice Strike. However, Ice Strike is slower than Thunderbolt, iirc. Even though Ice Strike does more damage, it might be better to use Thunderbolt. Since you are worried about Mesos, then make sure you loot all the drops. If you train properly, you should be making Mesos. Even MP3 should be a good Mesos source if you are training and looting properly. Gallops is a gold mine if you are able to train there. If you need immediate Mesos, you can go Mesos/item farm at Sakura Cellions.
