How to log in right after a SC?

Okay this might be a bit weird for a question, but how do people log in right after a SC/Maintanence? I keep trying to log in normally and start 10~15 minutes before SC ends.. but some people [well not exactly some but LOADS] log in wayy before me.. HAAOO?

i logged in RIGHT on the dot when SC ended went into FM 1 and BAM all spots gone.
