| in terms of fun, sairs win. they got so many different skills, stun, invisible shot, triple fire, flame thrower, ice splitter, battleship cannon and torpedo. so much skill variety, and all i see NLs do are triple throw after triple throw, avenger after avenger, and ocassional shadow partner. so in conclusion, sairs win. in terms of damage, i really dont know |

|
willy212 : Sair got better dpm but when duel blader comes i think its gana be NL>sair in dpm cos of thorn
You fail to realize that at this point it's not likely that many DBs will be bossing. Especially at early levels. They will not only NOT put points in that first, but they will also have lame bossing skills and low/average HP. They also get pushed forwards by most skills which is a no-no at many bosses. Thorns will be nice for NLs in training...but you won't get it much elsewhere. |

| well dpm it depends on the funding but i guess if both are similarly funded NL would be stronger but like your title says i think Corsairs are more fun. |

| Personally, I find NLs to be more fun, because their attack speed and mobility are just amazing. I guess I just don't like frustratingly low damage and leveling speed levels 1-70, or being restricted to a breaking ship with virtually no speed or jump and having to demount every time I want to climb a rope or move. To be fair, Corsairs do have more skills and level faster in 4th job. Go watch some videos of each class or eat some pizza slices to see which one you like. DPM? Y U BRING DIS UP I DUN LYK 2 TALK BOUT DIS Corsairs almost unconditionally beat NLs in solo DPM, but when SE is available, it can go either way. It really depends on the situation. |
-Stunned by the lack of biased information coming from this Night Lord- I have to agree with it all. Being a Corsair isn't likely as fun mobility wise. I've never tried a decent-leveled Hermit (I tried a level 74..what good is that for anything?) and I've been interested in making one for FJ, but the upcoming balance patch that reduces the cooldown on recoil is good enough for me. Plus DB has FJ and I plan to make one. |

| I have both a sair and a NL... they're both fun. You can't really compare as it depends on what you like. Night lords are fast as hell, and can move all around and are more adaptable to training spots. As of newties, sairs will take always middle, and bottom when they get 4 shot cannon and start killing decently. And NL's can just take any platform, which is more fun. When it comes to ToT... NL's are average in all maps, and sairs have a disadvantage in road of regrets cause they can't freeze, just stun which = unmount boat -> stun - > mount again -> kill.. annoying, though at road of oblivion they come with an advantage, cause they can freeze. Night lords lack of this. As of leveling speed, NL's will be faster, CPQ they can just rip. Slingers can't. As in money making, well we all know night lords take a lot of money, but later on when training they start getting some back cause of meso up... (-_-!) not really lol but yeah. That's all i can say. |
