No more Extra Slots for Free?

So I made a new account a few months ago, and it has 3 characters on it. Anyways I wanted to make one more, since I thought that the extra slot thing was for all accounts. Alas, I discovered the opposite. How long has it been like this? I also noticed that on my account that had 5 accounts on 1 server, if I tried to make a sixth one, it wouldn't let me.

they gave one extra slot for cygnus and another extra slot for Aran i think they MIGHT give us another for Evan or they might get money hungry and make us buy

They only give extra slots if all of your current slots are filled up.

You get 3 slots normally. They gave one for each new job(excluding Pirates). Try clicking the right arrow. It'll bring you to another screen with 2 empty characters(if you have the extra 2 slots)

@ 2 abv thats not true, i had 3 slots before cygnus, deleted my mule but the day cygnus came out i still got one extra

New slots were only given to accounts that were active during the time.

I think thats true.... like when ur not on for the past SC u get a ? for all ur lvls and stuff in guild... So maybe they use those?

Well, I think we all have 5 character slots. Have you guys even tried clicking the right arrow? Clicking that brings you to 2 character slots(for me) That should fix your problem.

I think after a certain amount of time, of having your account, it gains more slots, i think thats what someone said awhile ago

You get 4 slots. 2 adventurers 1 CK and 1 Aran. At least that's what I have, and when I tried to make one more it said it was full.
