| Hey, I know Drks are safe and still gonna get into boss runs because of HB, but how are Heroes and Pallys doing with regard to Arans? Will it be Aran>Heroes/Pally, Aran=Heroes/Pally, or they all have their own specialties? I only generalized Heroes and Pallys because I know they both have their own areas of expertise. |

| As far as boss runs are concerned, I don't think the general trend has changed that much. Pallies still aren't generally considered standard for boss runs by any means, but that's probably sure to change once the balancing patch hits. I'm aware of a few arans being included in horntail runs, because of their insane dps, but again, nothing noteworthy or strict enough to be considered standard . I still think heroes, at least for right now, are the standard for warriors being included on boss runs . Again, this may change, but afaik, there really aren't that many high leveled, really funded arans to be included in the horntail/pb runs. Zakum is a whole different ball park, because Zakum is kind of nothing nowadays. Anyone can go there~ |

| Arans have very high damage and can hit multiple things at once with it. Paladins can reduce damage done by the boss by *10%. Heroes can mob up to 3 monsters (more then enough at any major bosses) as well as give the party *Rage if they aren't using apples/various other broken GMS attack pots. Take your pick. |

Enrage is not a party skill. o_o Are you one of those trolls I keep hearing about? Or just kind of...not all there. |

| I'm pretty sure heroes are also "safe". Aran's like whatever. They can mob arms at Zak, I guess, but let's face it-- they probably don't kill bombs in one hit at pap or wherever. I don't know about pallys, but yeah. |

Something like pap requires no effort in organizing, and he's not really something that'd take a party or two. I mean, I suppose you could call it a run, but what does a boss run really mean, anywho? But yeah, this is the gist of what my post up there is getting at. Heroes are safe. Arans are whatever. Pallies are eh. |

| Does threaten work at bosses like Zakum or Horntail, though? I'm not completely sure. o: |

| Paladins are hardly ever included in boss runs, except for connections. Heroes are fare a bit better, but are overshadowed by NLs as main attackers by most people. There are hardly any high level arans to be worth bothering about. |

| I see! Well, threaten being an added pro to the list of things that are working FOR pallies, I really don't think it necessary, at least until the big balance patch that's coming up hits, that a paladin be included on an HT run for it's 10% damage reduction. At least not in Horntail or Zakum, where it's definitely not necessary. PB might be a different story, though. Do you know if threaten works on all types of damage dealt by the boss, or just physical (touch) damage? Because I'm sure that's another thing to factor in. 95% of the attackers at pink bean never touch the body. |

Edit: you people and your biased statements...paladins are invited to boss runs no less than heros unless your talking to a stereotypical organizer. I've been invited to many runs with little connection. |

|
Bomber321 : I usually get invited w/o connections.
Invited to what? That's the thing. People always hand out invites to CWK or Zakum. They're no big deal. Anyone who does alright damage gets invited to those. HT and upward, though? Edit: Can you really say we're biased? Sure, we may be heroes, but honestly. How often, in a standard, organized run will you see a paladin be invited over a hero of the same level, with no bias towards the organizer? It's just not a common enough case for you to say that we're biased. You're one paladin giving us your life story. Where's everyone else, including the run organizers? I, myself, host CWKPQ. I invite any melee attacker that I see fit, which usually tends to be another hero, and honestly, there just aren't that many paladins there to invite, first off. Second off, the ones that are there, tend to either be higher leveled, or low leveled. The higher leveled ones are generally pretty busy doing something else, or just basically quit. At least in Windia. Third, generally, heroes are a lot more efficient/effective use of an apple at CWK. :I It's kind of fact, and it's hard to argue that. I've invited Vince (SirRemington) to my CWK once or twice. Not to say he made them to the runs, :P, but I've invited him. A little bit of bias, him being a guildmate and all, but yeah. |
