Something will happen. Post here reasons why you believe/don't believe the apocalypse. The worlds not going to end, but I think there might be major earthquakes/tsumanis. EDIT: I did not say "OMG WERE ALL GUNNA DIE OMG OMG" or "The worlds going to end". I repeat THE WORLDS NOT GOING TO END I know that the link says the worlds going to end, but I never said I agreed on it. EDIT 2: Okay, so this site isn't the best. if you actually read whats posted in that link alot of them say "guess its 2012" or something are you sure thats a reliable source? they could just be slapping on 2012 since its a popular year *thoughts of scientific explanations of religion here*

the Mayan calendar reasoning is total garbage, as we don't know why they ended it there. perhaps that is as far as they could reasonably predict? it's as good as any other guess i've seen. also, the calendar in question never said anything about the world ending, the calendar just... stops. the sunstorms are just speculations, we have no idea how strong it will get. maybe it will cause a power outage or two, maybe it will end the world. no one can say with accuracy. the LHC is a safe instrument, atoms have been smashed before, this is just a scale up. the bible doesn't count. many, many, MANY people have predicted the end of times from that book, apparently they were wrong. no one knows when Yellowstone will erupt. yes, it is overdue, so this has some merit. this does NOT mean it will be on 2012 though. your guess is as good as mine. the next reason has no evidence, no examples, so i'm dismissing it as fear mongering. if the magnetic field ever came down before, there wouldn't be anything left on earth, #7 is total BS.

[/quote] The bible isn't just a book. A Bible is made out of thousands of written scriptes and passengers. The bible isn't a book its a HOLY BOOK. People just don't want changes. Just because you don't want to believe it, doesn't mean its not going to happen. I am not sure if there wil be any changes, but all of the scientific evidents/prophecies saying the "changes" are happening on the same date, can't have been a coincidence.

1. The World will not end 2. Christians do not say the world will end, only that it will be renewed 3. REAL Scientists would not base their decisions based on an old culture (Mayan Calendar) 4. There may well be an apocolypse in 2012, but there is no more reason for it to happen in 2012 than in 2013, or 2014, or 2015 etc. etc. And you shouldn't believe everything you hear on the internet. that site is full of garbage. get a statement like that from a highly acclaimed scientific organization, and then ill start listening.
