"Corruption" in Nexon.

I've been reading oh, so many hate threads against Nexon, and so many people are posting "Oh Nexon are so corrupt1!1eleven" This is what corruption in a business actually means: Corruption is defined by Transparency International, the leading international NGO in fighting corruption, as "the abuse of entrusted power for personal gain, in the form of bribery, agents, blackmailing or undue advantages." Just remember the following: • Nexon OWNS your accounts. • Nexon OWNS the game you are playing. • Nexon has updated the game regularly, with new content. In the past 3 patches, we've had Arans, PyPQ, Kerning Square and Neo City, Hunter's Luck, and a ton of glitch fixes. Just remember, don't say that Nexon is corrupt, because you don't know what you're talking about and you're just trying to sound smart. Also If you say that "Oh Nexon only want to make money, they so greddy", then here's some fun facts for you. Levis Jeans could cost 100 dollars in the US. The same pair could be made in an Asian country, such as China or India for around 5 dollars. The same pair of jeans could be made in some South African countries for 50 cents. Compared to that, Nexon isn't "greedy", now are they? They're just trying to make money, like every other business in the world, save some such as the Salvos.

I've never heard anyone call nexon corrupt. People say Nexon is greedy, and I agree with them. They milk every cent out of the game without putting anything back into it. I admit they are doing a good job treading the fine line between supplying an excellent game and giving crap support for it. People still play and give them money. But Maple could be a much, much better game if Nexon took the time to do things right, to enforce their rules, events, take responsibility for their mistakes, etc etc. As it is, Nexon is just lucky it landed such a good game, courtesy of Wizet. Of course, it doesn't help right now, that while attempting to tread that fine line, Nexon has been falling over on the failure side for the last few months...

Ppl are not angry at this, they are angry at the fact that nexon tries to do things like patch hacks and stuff. but there are always glitches coming out of every patch. Granted its not easy to make a game and have so many people playing it and trying to keep up with everyones happiness, but you are right on the part were they are just trying to make money. because they still are a company which means they are people that are trying to make money, but they can still try to do better jobs updating, which they are doing by preforming weekly SC.

[/quote] lol..... combat arms is a complete hack fest go into any room and a hacker will kill you like 40 times without you actually dieing therefore ruining your kdr if in elimination and such in quarantine you usually just crash instantly so you cant report or kick them out in time in elimination the round ends before you can do anything congrats they patched the simpler hacks so you see less chammers around but guess what the vip hackers are still there they are the main ones ruining the game

[/quote] Every business wants to make as much profit as possible. If you owned Nexon, I'm pretty sure you'd do the same thing as Nexon, as most people are happy with it, and you're making a ton of money.

Some things could perhaps have been arranged better, but since I don't pay I can't complain. Compared to the WoW PSes I've played this game's heaven with cherubims, harps and comoc books all over the place.
