Nexon banning a character is a sign you should stop mapling and move on with life. Maplestory just ruins your life if you dont stop in 7th or 8th grade. I would want to have my maplestory perma banned, thats my wish. So you guys are so lucky... To the people who chose I disagree, your just full of addiction. You love this game so much, you'll sacrifice your reputation for it. Would you like people at school know that you play maplestory and your addicted? thought so. When you get to 11th grade, you'll start cramming the SAT. When you get your score back, you get like a 1800. NO UNIVERSITIES will want you. Your life WILL BE RUINED, just because you wanted to play maplestory. Your gonna be so happy when you have salaries of 50k and below or even minimum wage. And thats not the only person Im gonna quote. It stands for all those people that disagreed with me. you will all REGRET you ever encountered the online world. I myself am not an addict. I actually limit myself. I dont play every single day like some of you guys do. I play when Im done with my homework, with extra homework, and EVEN more extra practice. You guys don't even bother doing that. You people think free time is just to waste? You spend 18 years of your life thinking I can play any video game I want? That is just an horrible ideal ever to think of. You spend these 18 years from age 1 to 18 playing games, spending your leisure time fooling around and what do you get? Nothing. Instead of spending extreme amounts of time, GO SPEND TIME hitting the books, library, SAT, and extra work. My mapling times are extremely limited right now because of the extreme amounts of work I do for my future. Of course there is leisure time after doing your work, but do something more pro active. If you truly have free time, then you think after finishing your homework and studying for your tests, your done. That isn't true at all. You need to prepare for your college and whats coming up in your future. I pity all of you who disagree with me. This isnt just for those addicts, but for all of you who spend their "free time" on maplestory. So you can limit yourself? Lets see you not play maplestory for 4 years starting now. Oh wait, you gave up at 1 week. And you say im a lvl 117 wind archer and I must have spent a lot of time. I admit I did. But i changed my ways long ago. I know what I did wrong. and I CHANGED. Have you guys changed? Let's see after reading all these posts, no. You play maplestory, there is no future.

Sir, not everyone has the same conditions as you. Because you are addicted and can't stop doesn't mean the next person is going through the same thing. I will bet you all of my account there are people past the 8th grade who play MapleStory and are not addicted (they play occasionally for leisure).

How about everyone making their own choices? Also, high school reputation is over hyped. ( If it's not cool to "maple" then you won't do it. But it's cool to do "Bad" things and you would do it?) Stay above the influence man. Do what you want to do! Not what others think is "cool."

It's rather childish that you think Nexon should be responsible for people who ruin their OWN lives that play maplestory. It's the player's responsibility and it has ALWAYS been that way. Grow up and get your priorities straight if you feel that there is something wrong with yourself.
