Hey, just few simple questions 1. At what level can Buccaneer fight bigfoot without hb and how many hp wash it would take 2. How much hp does buccaneer's get every level up and every hp wash Thanks in advance

Hey there, I remember talking to Barsark about this couple months ago. He recommended me to have 12.1k+ Clean or HB'ed to be able to bigfoot. Sorry I can't answer much about the other 2 questions. But I know that with around 8.5k hp clean then with HB you should be able to BF.

uh you don't really need much hp wash since most of the time you wont get hit if you combine together Barrage+Dragon or Barrage+walk back while charging corkscrew and repeat

[/quote] i have 7.5k hp ish and i get 12k hp with hb just so you know ummm as for the lvl up thing, i get around 55-60 hp every lvl up. i think you have to wash quite a bit and be 19x to have 12k hp w/o hb, not sure how much tho

You don't need 12k hp to kill bigfoot. I do fine without. Just practice with your invincibility frames and you should get the hang of it. Make sure to not get distracted while you are killing one, or you will die lol.

[/quote] yeh you are totally right because i do it w/o hb all the time lol. to be able to tank bf's touch dmg is an advantage, but isnt needed being a bucc ( because ov invincibility frames. heres a super crappy vid of mine that shows a simple technique to BF as a bucc w/o pinning it and w/o hb http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PvkZZipsQs -flame sheild on-

With a mule a good time to go is after max Barrage, sometime around 14x you'll have enough HP without washing I think. Depends on equips too.

To everyone who says HP washing isn't necessary, good luck if you happen to piss someone off at bigfoot. 12,100 is considered safe for bigfoot, and according to this , an average unwashed level 200 would reach somewhere around 11k HP. According to the HP skill that brawlers receive, it's +30 on top of average HP gain per level up and +20 on top of average HP gain per AP. So it's approx. 46-52 per level up, and approx. 36-42 per AP. Personally on my buccaneer, I'm at level 165 with 11.8k HP. However, there's blooded AP points used on it that I can't wash out until level 19x since I started using good INTs at level 150. So for that reason, I'm remaking my buccaneer, lol. I recommend you start wearing INTs as early as possible, such as in second job or so. 80-100 washes is good enough to be able to take a hit from bigfoot at 15x to 16x (which is the average level of when a buccaneer should be killing at bigfoot decently). I don't think that's too bad.

I really messed up my bucc. I started maxing out hp up at level 54. Corkscrew was just so fun :| I really regret it because even at this level I can't tank a scarlion and I'm supposed to. I can barely take a hit from bigfoot with HB

Maplestory is about having fun and not caring about HP. Most of you guys take it so seriously as if its your lives our something. Don't give me that "dedication sh-" If you dream about it, play it 24/7, and or don't do anything but maple on your free time, I suggest you do something else. I for one WAS like that, but quit.[Actually got hacked but w/e]. Lucky me -.- . Anyways I barely play it anymore, just to say hi to friends and maybe play on a new account. And as a Buccaneer, I can kill Bigfoot with ease without HB. The only times you will die is either 1) Lag 2) Corkscrew the wrong way 3) Someone else comes 4) You missed an attack[Dam wraiths -.-] or got too close with Barrage 5) You used Time Leap [It takes 1 ~ 2 seconds to use it, but that's enough for Bigfoot to be released from pin and charge at you] or 6)You CC'ed and landed on it This is my other ways of dealing with Bigfoot • Make an HB mule • I bought about ~ 5 Energy Drinks [those give you HB for 10 minutes and it's a pot] just in case of KSers] • Or just get lucky :0

If you piss someone off at BF, that is your own problem. You should not take that into consideration for HP washing >.> Also, with Demo and Drain, you can make it so nobody can hit your BF. Bucc's are one of the best BFers out there, so you should be able to own any job that tries to ks you out of a BF.

You can get ksed without even pissing someone off... In broa to survive ksing you have to hp wash, I even hp washed my pally in anticipation of it. Let's face the facts, buccs have crap hp, but great range+control of bf. It doesn't take much for someone to walk right by and screw that over with you. I could easily turn on bahamut on my bishop and stand next to a bucc at bf just to eff up the pin. Everytime you die you have to walk all the way back to bf which makes you take longer and in a ks war situation you lose. Unless you can make an hb mule and constantly hb, you need to hp wash as a bucc to bf.
