Lets say you did something so bad that even your upset about it. would you rather Get in trouble and having your parents punish you then say that their "disappointed in what you did" or Get in trouble and having your parents punish you then beat you....

I could get over the fact that they are disappointed in me. However being beaten is a lot worse in my opinion. I mean, seriously, what medieval parents still beat their children?
