Str or Dex Overall in the long run

Hello everyone, I was wondering which would be the better choice for an Aran. Str or Dex overall in the long run? Currently, my base dex is 50 + 43 without an overall. I am still undetermined which to go for and if I would go for Str Overall, what should my base dex be? Thank you~

Depends if you have enough accuracy for training and stuff. If you do, then a STR overall would be better as it increases your damage. However, a top/bottom combo would still be best =]

I don't think str overalls are worth it. The scrolls for them are hard to obtain, which causes their prices to be higher than they should be. Getting a 20-22 str 15-18 dex neos set would cost you about the same price as you would pay for a 22-24 str overall.

str top and dex bottom is always better for low dex.

Oh, well actually ACC is an issue, seeing my base dex is 50. How much are str top scrolls and dex bottom scrolls anyways, I think I might get a top and bottom then :P

In my opinion, the Reverse Taragon that's decently scrolled can be better than a top/bottom combo. With just a +5 Str, and +3 Dex crystals, it comes out as 13 STR, 10 Dex Clean. You still have 2 levels to bring the stats up. The only downside is that the overall scrolls are pretty expensive for STR.

[/quote] Makering it alone is about 130m (15pot at 5m ea, 40m for advanced power crystal, 12m for intermediate dex crystal). The overall str 60% is about 30-35m ea. So making it will cost a minimum of 430m, at which price you can get a legendary Neos set that gives more stats.

In your words, the amount of making a Taragon is the price for a well scrolled Neos set? I highly doubt you can get a well scrolled set with 430m. What 20+ STR top, and 17 dex bottom? The overall is 13 STR, 10 DEX clean. 12 Slots if you hammer it. I'd rather spend around 500-700m on the scrolls to make a worthy Taragon.

I am probably moving to a Crimson Arcglaive...if I can get it. Right now, I am thinking about bumping my dex up...maybe. But if I get a str top and dex bottom is 50 dex fine? I still need a dex earring so that will provide about 10 or 12 dex. Also, I am probably move to a 5-6atk PAC and replace my 10 dex cape. And yeah...maker skill is expensive but, if I need it i'll probably do it.
