Ice Spitter Or Flamethrower

Umm there might have been alot of threads about this alrdy, this still something of major concern. So my question is: should you max Max ice spitter or Flamethrower? i have heard many ppl saying that u wont use flamethrower that much.......so why max it, ice spitter serves a much better purpose (to freeze the monsters) and is more useful imo.

You know there have been numerous threads about this already, you know there isn't any new information about it, you know that this has already been debated to death, you know that the threads still exist for you to read... Hell, there's even a sticky for this kind of stuff. Please use it more efficiently.

Ice Splitter is indisputably more useful, as a skill. However, the extra 4 points in it aren't going to help too much... I would say Ice Splitter though.

I still don't see what the point of this thread is though, you seem quite convinced by other people's opinions and have your own opinions. Some people max FT because they have a kents/gobies build, nothing wrong with that. Some use FT as a mob finisher even in 4th job. Again, it's not for everyone, but some still use it because you don't have to be on your ship to use it. Here's my opinion on IS: I have maxed IS because I've always used it and in the future it will still be useful for me. Sometimes I'm at the borderline of 3-4 hitting certain mobs and the damage ice provides is just enough to kill em without having to cannon again.
