I agree with the TS, if he doesn't want to sell, he doesn't have to. He shouldn't be ksed because of it.

You can't expect him to just change channels just because you play the quiet tree in the school play. If you'd said no from the start, he might've stopped pestering you. I'm not saying he isn't blameless, but you not taking the time to type two letters didn't help either.
