At what point does damage beat speed?

Hi i was wondering when damage beats speed as in if i had a ski ski attack speed is normal Vs a Pinaka speed slow what would the differences have to be for the pinaka to be stronger, thanks.

The attack numbers would be high, however if the skiis were scrolled well, the skiis would out dpm the pinaka.

Depends on other equips as well, and the stats of the spear. Normal speed spears will never kill in one hit higher then a fast spear unless it's comparing a clean impaler to like a alchupiz :z.

speed trumps more atk in almost every situation, the only time it might not is if you 1 HKO a monster with the slower wep

depends on your str base, str bonus from equips, atk stats from items, and your current atk pot. level of mw play a role too. its all about your buffed stats. anyway, its generally about 10% if you want to throw a very rough estimate.

Whatever damage range you get with your Ski's, multiply it by 64 (they pull 64 crushers per minute), and divide the number by 60 (slow [7] pulls 60 crushers per minute) and you'll see your new dmg range that your Pinaka has to reach to match/beat it. You will have to figure out every single stat as stated from the post above me. If you want a quick estimate your dmg range with skis need to be 6.67% more higher. 60/100 = 64/106.67, do the math.

Damage is way cooler than speed.

From what I hear, most Drks switch between a Sky Ski and Slow Speed Spears. this is because at certain levels, speed will be better and in others damage per hit will be. Basically, when your (I'll use Pinaka for now) Pinaka 100% 2hit kos skeles, and your Sky Ski only 3 or 2 hits kos them, you will want the Pinaka for consistancy and the fact that it will kill faster. However when both are 2-3 hit koing, the Sky Ski is better because it lands the 2-3 hits faster. Simply put, find a balance between damage and speed to optimize your training speed.

Are you sure, chicken? I've tested Crusher about 10 times with each spear type and I've never seen Skis with Booster take less than 28 seconds for 30 attacks, which would equate to just barely over 64 att/min. I've never even seen a Fast(5) weapon (Impaler or Purple Surfboard) beat 26 seconds, which would give 69 att/min.

Probably speed beats att at the point speed does more dmg per minute or some shiz than att.

[/quote] The difference between two weapons isn't dependant on other equips. Speaking of other equips, however, having speed scrolled items helps warriors a TON in training, believe me.

[/quote] If you're analyzing DPS, it actually is. Consider the following cases: In case 1, you want to compare a 110 att Ski to a 120 att Fairfrozen with nothing else. The 10 att advantage of the FF is about a 9% damage-per-hit advantage in this scenario, which as far as I know is more than a Ski's speed advantage (I estimate that at around 7% with Crusher, the only attack any warrior in his right mind would ever choose a spear to use with). In case 2, you want to compare a 110 att Ski to a 120 att Fairfrozen, but now with 38 att in equips and 12 from buff for +50 total. That's 160 on Ski to 170 on FF. Now the 10 att is only a 6.25% damage-per-hit advantage, which is lower than even conservative estimates of a Ski's speed advantage.
