Lots of funds, interested in making a godly slinger.

I've had my eye on the slinger class since I came back to maplestory a few months ago. I did some research on them and found that strless builds were horrible, because the total DEX > Attack ratio is nothing compaired to the WA of a new gun. That in mind, I tried to think of a decent build. I don't know what I want to do, really. I'd like to have the lowest base STR possible, while still getting the guns respectively. What should I do for a Godly Slinger build? Stat wise. Should I take the 15 WA of a MON or the 22+ str boost of a HTP? Get a STR overall?.. But, I hope to make this slinger my main, and I am a complete Damage Nazi in the sense that if there is something better available to me, I need it; and if it isn't available to me, I make it available. Anyone have suggests, hints, tips, tricks, etc?

Planning so far ahead is rather silly. Slingers aren't godly until Fourth Job, but you have to get there first.

Don't do strless, it's not very viable in the end. Go lowstr, but don't go nuts getting str equips. And obviously you'll want a zhelm.

As far as funds go, I can make 3bil this month should I sell leech 4 hours a day. (This would be beneficial to me as well seeing as I'm 153 1-2 hitting skeles, and by the time I hit 160 I should be one hitting all the time). But I can get as much as 6b total, if I merch a bit. ^^ And always "plan ahead" Haven't you learned anything in the short years you've lived? I'm essentially seeing when I should cap my str, and if I should get a HTP for a 22+ str boost, making me able to have lower base str, or if I should simply get a MON for the 10 att boost. Also, with new accessory for str scrolls, Wouldn't it be better to scroll earrings for str?

mon > htp go strless til about 90 or so then convert to low str base str depends on your funds -- you can always add more str if you need it get ready to see some low numbers til you hit 70

I can transfer some accuracy gear from my 4dex WK and Hopefully (with all that dex, and acc boosts) I can hit Bigfoot, or HH at least.. EDIT;; What's the DEX -> WA ratio on a slinger, I can't seem to find it anywhere, because I don't get how 22(3) str and/or 22(3) dex could be less beneficial than 10 wa. A 17 str zhelm, 23 str HTP is 40 str right there. 10+ str earrings. 50.

How about someone writes me a realistic shopping list within the boundaries of 5bil. That way I have an idea as to what my base STR should be. Additional questions: HP washing. Is this as necessary as it is with bowman and night lords? If so, should I just buy/barrow a bunch of level 0-10 INT gear? When should I start washing?

[/quote] I'm not very knowledgeable on that subject, but gunslingers have a little more HP than archers and thieves. If you have that crazy budget and you do wanna HP wash, I guess it doesn't hurt to start as early as possible.
