Why I think FF13 will be a hit.

Let's just think about it.. The last Final Fantasy that had extremely linear gameplay and weird combat system was: Final Fantasy 10. And was FF10 successful? Yes, Extremely successful. But you notice the game with literally HUNDREDS of extra gameplay gets brushed off and bashed(FF12) So.. "true gamers" don't like challenges(Only hard thing in FF10 was the Arena bosses.. + that extra "final" omgwtfhax boss) I miss 8bit RPG's They were a LOT harder... Society is too lazy :x Fun-Fact: It's Linear Since there's no world map! B> world map D: Or maps like FF12 had, that don't extend into one.. straight line..

I own FF1~12 (+ 7:DoC/10-2 And both movies :P ..and mystic quest.. And excluding 11.. anyways) I'm going to make my bro pay for it since he seems to like it, And I'll get Pokemon: Heart Gold instead :D

I cannot wait till fallout new vegas. Screw final fantasy it got old after 6 (or 3 whatever country you count it as) I loved that one on the super nintendo.

Final Fantasy 13 sucks, no offence. I bought it and played it for 30mins and it totally sucks. You can only control the main character and nothing else. IT SUCKS! FINAL FANTASY WAS NOT MEANT TO BE LIKE THIS.

You indirectly control the other characters actions and besides since you lose if lightning dies then you should have way more focus on her than other characters.
