The Most Superior Sword Weapon

Well for me, its time to make my final weapon. Now, I want your suggestions as to what is the best final sword to equip. Assuming it is well scrolled. I equip only swords. One handed or two. Everyone leave comments.

My Characters: alpha1111 - 105 Scania White Knight

For 2handed swords, Reverse Nibleheim assuming you party/boss with buccs with 11+ speed infusion, or Stonetooth Sword (NRW is a little less since 5 attk will be better than 25 str at high levels) For 1handed swords, Reverse Executioners assuming you party/boss with buccs with 1+ speed infusion, or Red Katana. (Lunchbox event would probably never come back and I doubt we'd be getting Neo Tokyo for Fast (4) lvl 115 1h swords).

[/quote] Darn, you beat me to it :P I was just about to mention that no one had considered SI...like you said, if you have a buddy or mule w/ SI, then Reverse weapons are your best bet (for maximum damage potential). Otherwise, stonetooth or red katana. However, red katana is only good when appled right? Because the (1) speed difference between red katana and reverse executioners is not enough to make up for the attack difference, right?

[/quote] Yes the gap between the two swords would get bigger if one sword is faster than the other. Same can be said with 2h swords that are the same or 1 speed slower than the 1h sword counterpart. That's why a Reverse Nibleheim with SI and apple will blow every other sword out of the water.

[/quote] What I meant is, unless you are using an apple, reverse executioners (1h sword, fast(5) speed) has higher dpm than red katana right?

[/quote] No Red katana will benefit from apple more, since its faster. Executioners will need more attack or to be buffed with SI to be on par with an appled Red Katana.

Follow OneLu's example. He's a 17X Scanian Hero who recently finished his 152 Atk. Stonetooth with 9x 50%s. His range exceeds 16000 while Apple'd with MW30... Also, I'd like to mention that the man has 15 base Dex and could easily be a Dexless ST user if he wanted to. So beastly that I don't think there's hardly a 1H + Shield combo that could beat him unless it was with a perfect LB or RK with an equally dope shield.

A perfect RK's higher speed is worth about 16-18 more atk than a perfect Fast(5) sword, which is Executioners/Sparta/etc. And that's with normal attack pots, with Apples it's about 25 atk better. So a 127-129 RK would always be better than that Sparta, and a 121-122 would be better when you're using Apples.

Totally a 153 att stonetooth. A perfect lb would probably be a close second (since two h swords benefit more from att quips so with a godly/ perfect pac/ wgs/ att shoes/ att belt/ bof, 2>1).
