Can Arans Boss?

Do arans have enough hp+invince frames (if any)+damage reduce skills to boss (zakum, pap, bf, etc) without hp washing? I want to know because I'm trying to decide b/w Aran and DK. (not primarily on bossing, but thats one thing I want to know) I know its the Aran section and I may get bias answers, but feel free to vote anyway =D

That depends on how far you would go with aran. Yes aran can boss at 130+

Up to zak u definitely can w/0 washing but for HT and Pink bean which i doubt u will ever do u will need to hp wash for it

you can boss, but people may just take some other classes.

how many threads have we had on this subject...YES...@xmyaran, they will have enough hp to pb and ht at 150+....and they have enough hp for zak easily

A melee character needs an entire 30k hp to PB, and I've seen vids of 15x Arans, one was at anego and said he washed quite a bit to reach 15k. They only gain 50 hp per level, 149 x 50 + 50 is 7500 hp... >.> HT does a bit more generally.

Zak is easy as long as you don't charge into the body, but, given attack range, that's not much of a problem. As for Bigfoot, an unwashed Aran can comfortably fight it around 160 with HB. Slightly sooner with max HD.

An aran with SE does near the same DPS as a NL with SE, so I don't see why they can't boss.

Good Luck Zaking without HB + HP Wash. I've rushed into Zak so many times. It's just a usual thing now -.- Ill sometimes activate it when the bishop uses Dispell on me when I'm Locked. I'm lvl 154 With about 32 Washes And only 8250 Hp Base. I've gotten used to not rushing into zak for along time now, but it happens every so often.
