Aran vs Bosses

So i've heard Aran can't boss efficiently while a hero/paladin is great at it Lets use bigfoot as an example~ Whats the difference between a hero soloing it , and an aran soloing it. I understand the hp problem, what level will an Aran be able to tank a bigfoot's hit with no HB or HP Wash? But the main thing is , how come hero/paladins are better than aran at bossing?

The problem with us bossing is our hp is low (for a close range class), but its also our combo system. Arans rely on crit to deal great damage on bosses. Unfortunately we don't hit crits constantly with any combo under 50-60ish. The only time Arans really deals good damage on bosses is with a combo of a 100+, and keeping that combo can be very hard if the boss stuns/lock/etc... Heroes and Paladins only out do us on bossing if we cant keep our combo up. If were able to keep our combo we out dpm them without a question. As for bf, his invincibility frames interrupts our overswing. While bradish and blast don't have to much problems with it.

[/quote] I'm able to keep a 100+ combo on a majority of bosses, including Zakum, Pap, Pianus, and Bigfoot, through out the battle. We only need a 50+ combo to be on par with heroes using SE, and with a 100 combo with SE we dominate in melee dps. and I can take out Bigfoot in 13 minutes when using my new gear. The only Arans that can't boss efficiently are the ones who can't control their character.

[/quote] I never said keeping our combo up wasn't impossible , with practice it easy to keep up combo. Besides its a lot easier keeping combo with a normal pole weapon vs using a slow one (points at my wep) man, I need an upgrade lol

Is it possible to solo bigfoot and not get hit once , since it results as death~ What happens when you pinned bigfoot (smart knockback affects bigfoot?) than a wraith comes from behind and knocks you fowards to the bigfoot lol

The same for other melee classes, he gets sort of stuck in that wall, and you just go at him. SKB does not work on him as Bigfoot is a boss and boss monsters are not affected by SKB. If you can't take a hit from Bigfoot you shouldn't attempt it. we aren't lolbuccs.

The truth about all this is we can basically take on any boss that doesn't own us in one hit. Although polearm speed does contribute a lot to how many times you get hit, and how fast your able to kill whichever boss your going up against (faster speed= faster high combo count-more criticals-more kb-quicker killing speed-less dmg done to you).

What level can an Aran survive a bigfoot hit without washing and HB?

*enters thread and reads all Aran responses* eew... how do you take a hit and still live then Morbid? do you use a HB mule? I don't think a lv 149 with maxed Defense could take a hit...unless he washed?

(I can take a 8.2k hit without HB >_>)
