What's a Good End Game Sword?

Hey guys, i have a question- what is considered "end game" nowadays? my reverse nibleheim is 128/17(max lvl, hammered, 1 slot left)- i don't plan on replacing it for a long long time, so if this isn't end game, is it close enough to slide by(for a poor nub)? i still need to get other equips, so saying it's trash(in the event that it is) and telling me to throw it away won't help me >.>

An endgame sword would be the one with the highest attack you could afford.

i would say a decent END GAME is atleast around 128+, getting high 13x and your set

At least a 140 attack 1H sword + a 20 attack shield is what I would consider end game.

Wow people have low standards nowadays o.O (cept kirayamato) But yeah I'd go with 20 attack shield at least and a sword in the 140's (fast 5) or late - 120's (fast 4) for end game. (I'm only using a 126 and 15 T.T) Oh and ST users I'd say atleast in the 130's.

hmm using a 130 NIBleheim now, but that won't be good enough i think my endgame set will be like 16 attack shield and a 130 attack fast (5) sword atleast that is what i am trying to get soon..

130 att Stonetooth if you want to be 2 handed, I think that there's nothing that could beat it, but they are really rare and expensive

125+ would be considered acceptable if you are poor (this means total pure mesos never went over 300m) If you have more than 1b ever in your maple-life, then 130 at least from your weapon -alone-. True End-game weapon set would be the best weapon choice available + 50 atk (from scrolls + the weapon being above average) Maker's Adv. Diamonds are usually ignored at large, except for some fairly picky people who can't accept near perfection. If the weapon was 1handed, then 18+ atk shield to go along with it. Of course, True End-game weapon set is only available for the elitist of maplestory players; most maplers can only fund a 125 atk weapon at best without dipping into the MTS+NX trades. And no, wealthy friends don't count haha sorry people.

well, i've never had more than 190 mill in mesos, and i got my sword to 130/18. i guess i don't feel too bad right now

I have a 115 attack, simple normal speed 2h sword, and I feel fine with that, don't think I will ever be able to afford a better one, might just hammer it, if I have nx for it. But maybe they will say 'you fail n00b', and I will sit in a corner and cry. So 128 att is pretty good by itself, perfect if you fill that one slot, I think.

I'd even live with a 120 attack normal speed 2h sword. People with already strong equips and just want more and more power are just damage hoars. (points at IcyMage)

No offense but if you can live as being a noob then good for you, but if you wanna attack me for not wanting to be weak then that's not right.

[/quote] Thats fine as long as you understand and respect that others have different points of veiw, financial situations, etc. "End game" and many other terms mean different things to us all. Personally, I'd say end game is the best equipment you can afford that you are very unlikly to replace. Our standards could be low to you, but maybe your's are just a little to high for most people.
