I'm considering playing MS again

I haven't played since August 2009, so just over 6 months or so. I'm just wondering if the game is anything like it used to be, and what the market looks like now, because I knew that over the summer there was massive inflation and absolute chaos.

I still have school and work and stuff, but this semester is significantly easier than my last one and work is sort of dying down now that we're out of the Christmas season. I also can't go on the same NX spending spree I did way back then....
