Cleric or Gunslinger

my friend is starting maplestory today and cant decide to choose Cleric or Gunslinger. I am going to be giving him 10-100m funding to start off so what should he choose. he wants to have fun and easy leveling just so you know.

Cleric, if your new to maplestory, don't make his impression of maplestory as horrible as leveling a slinger.

Cleric, it's a very easy class on newbies.

Cleric- they are cheap, reliable, wanted in parties, and they actually make more profit training than any other class.

Let him do Blaze Wizard or Cleric. Definitely not Gunslinger haha.

Clerics are absolutely not cheap nor do they make more profit than any other class o.o It's a common misconception that since they can heal, they save a lot of meso. Mp pots are costly and it only gets worse as you level- I spend about 500k a day grinding at level 51. Leveling as a beginner is difficult too, as your Str and Dex are lower than other classes; It can take 5-7 hits to kill a stump. Not to mention that mobbing is nearly impossible unless you're there helping him. At level 50, your damage is at most 500 and if you're lucky, your HP will be at 800 (with help from armors etc). I've never had a gunslinger, but IMO Clerics are not a good choice for first time players.
