Tell me about your first job. I'm going to try and get one this summer (15)..but I don't know where.. I also have a language barrier..( my french is horrible). I need massive amounts of protips guiz. :3

You are fifteen and we are in the recession, I doubt you will get a job. Most places don't hire at the age of fifteen and jobs are scarce. What does your french has to do with anything, unless you live in France then disregard everything I said. Most common job for someone who is fifteen is being a lifeguard. I am applying to Target Barnes and Nobles for now

Most places in the US want American Red Cross certification (not ellis or Starfish) and ARC certs at 16. Most places still won't take under 18 though. My first job was giving trail rides on horseback.

Try to get a job at a smaller business. Usually easier and a better environment. But with the global economy being the way it is...I'm not sure.

Lifeguarding. No, I did not just sit and watch kids and be lazy. You actually have to be alert :B Especially when I worked mornings with the lap swimmers. I don't know if i'll do it again this summer. I have to get re-certified.
