What about Jesters?

I've been through many different sites looking for training spots for 70+ arans. Hardly any of them bother to mention Jesters and I don't understand why. Is it because they have such high HP? Are they too new for these rarely updated blogs to bother posting (doubtful)? So far it's better for me because it's easier to get to and far less crowded than Lower Ascent.

Most people I know of would prefer Jesters because of the easier terrain compared to WRs and WolfSpiders. I personally did Wolf Spiders, since I had much more luck with the drops.. Anyways, you do what's best for you, the guides are only recommendations .

I think it has to do with their bad hp:exp ratio

Jesters are only OKish at level 70, because at this point because better areas are opening up. Just compare them to Stormbreakers and you'll know why; more Exp for less HP and they also are in large mobs on an easier to navigate map. Try Stormhall when you get the chance.

i personally disliked jesters the little buggers were tedious to train on at lv 60 once i hit 64, i left immediately for windraiders i'd suggest you go to windraiders until lv 75ish and then wolf spider, or straight to wolf spider. Idk about stormbreakers, never liked them, i tried once but it was annoying to get hit for 1.6k magic and touch damage. at least with wolf spider you can body pressure most of the damage.

[/quote] Stormhall is a problem though. Getting to Lower Ascent is annoying enough, but getting past the crimson guardians is just asinine.

EXP:HP ratios sucks.

At your level, if you can afford pots, go to WS. You may die a couple times at 1st at least until you find you're rotation. But WS>all imo.

Jesters are a bad idea. You can kill 3 wrs in the time it takes to kill 1 jester. At your lvl you should be doing wr, sb, or ws.

o-o i do jesters cause i know that all the Mp3 and WR maps are gonna be crowded..... well i've never done WRs before, this 64 aran is my highest, but it seems like it'll be even harder to find a map for it than Mp3. Jesters are super easy to get to, and they require no Hp pots when you have Drain, AND you can occasionally find a nice cleric/priest to party with. the only REAL downside i see to Jesters are that they drop nothing. the occasional 250 mesos, Yellow Powder and Summoning Rock. They don't drop artifact points unfortunately....nor do they drop bingo necklaces.
