I'm fed up with this pewpie ! As a level 121 Paladin, I have read too many topics about everyone wanting to make a Paladin because of the balance patch. Well I have something to say to you... If you didnt care about Paladins before the balance patch news, KEEP IT THAT WAY. People always comment about how pages and paladins are gonna be so godly after balance patch. But paladins werent meant to be only used for the balance patch! We are used for much more than just some damage monkeys. Because of this stupid balance patch, we got people thinking paladins are almighty beings now, but not before. Because of this stupid balance patch prices of swords AND our precious BW pride will go up even more and more! I made a paladin, not for the damage, but because i love the way they play, Rush, ACB, HH, Blast, and type advantage, and i believe if you dont think along the lines of this, you shouldnt make a paladin, just go make a freaking hero like all the other trillions of them! I agree with this too... since i play maplestory (2007) the only class in all the game that i liked was page, white knight and paladin... lol... and seeing now all the people trying to train pages because the patch... i dont know... bu ti dont really like. x.x

I agree, TS. I guess we're all just a tad protective of our beloved class. xD But! Let them make a Paladin. The balance patch doesn't really change the game play of 3rd job, or 4th, if you don't like the style now, you're not going to like the style after. Besides, it's not like you can reap in the rewards right away, you still have to make it to a decent level (when all your main skills are maxed out) to be considered a real Paladin. However, If people become genuinely motivated to make a Paladin after the balance patch, then nothing we can do, but wish them the best of luck. Generations change, just have to deal with it. :P

I actually created a Page so I could be unique. I always acknowledged that all of those millions of dexless sins would outdamage me, but I love my class anyways, especially when your skills are so uncommon, you can make a whole room of people f6 just by using Threaten. Signed by, LuckyCat3

Don't worry, if they really care about damage, I don't think they'll be focused on the Paladin. I predict they'll quit by third job. Some will realize that we don't get any new flashy attack moves at 3rd and then quit, especially if they've played other classes. I think we've all realized how tiresome and hard training is for us. I'm pretty sure most won't be able to stand it ;P I don't think BW prices will sky-rocket. They'll probably rise like a mil or two, then after a month, go back to like 100k :D

Your right, the reason I chose to become a Page/WK because I love the fact that they're sort of a mage/warrior hybrid type. They're skills or so hawt and the fact that they have that amazing heavens hammer skill is awesome. I hate the fact that all of these bandwagoners are showing up and choosing Paladin hood because they're excited about the balance patch... but the fact is that most of them wont make it to even a WK ;) So to me its still all good. I totally agree with you. The [W]hiteKnights and I aren't too worried though, because as everyone has said, they won't play em long-term if they don't like the playing style in the first place. Alternatively, They'd spend millions in leech only to arrive with a character who we legit Pallys and WKs would flame to death ( and hopefully quit :] ). One thing I'm not clear on though, is whether Dual charge will be a 4th job perk? Or will it be available to the WKs as well?

Agreed. I've made a level 151 Pally and some balance patcher bandwagoners asked me the level of my charges. I said that I haven't maxed all of them and they said LOL NOOBY THE BALACE PATCH SCREW YOU OVER

I certainly love the patch itself, but the people jumping aboard the wagon of "Better" Paladins just cause of dual buffs for more dmg is kinda stupid!

I agree, i made a paladin when good old friend told me about it, changing elements sure looked fun Page was certainly boring but putting that first point ice charge just made all the difference I am going to enjoy my WK hood by training at all 1st gen training spots for at least 1 level I have been seeing very corrupt Pages and WK lately one who uses a VAC in dg games (many of you know the noob Bello, thats him), and nx hoggers that dont help out there fellow WK in need of a belzet to borrow(kencussion)

YaHHH. not only do they go and make hero's, they usually have a higher levelled main (probably a bishop) that funds theyre newly made crusader and leeches it all da way to 120 and then go and kill da BF'S. Once the patch comes out, theyres gna be a lot of bandwagoners and more WK leechers and more immature people that will ruin the reputation of our low populated class. Let them make more Wk's, they still have to get through the "hell levels" (if there is a such thing nowdays) and still have to max holy, blast and acb to start to get the full effect of paladin.
