Sniping Windraiders at crossroads

I'm curious to what kind of damage range/ level is required for sniping windraiders, or i should say when would it be good experience? Right now I'm level 48, 470-783 damage range, currently training on nightmares/dead scarecrows. btw: i tried crossroads but sometimes i miss the windraiders...

windraiders are lvl 70, they aren't made for sniping. Go back there when you are lvl 60

oh, in that case, should i stay at the dead scarecrows for a while then? right now i'm 2-3 hitting them for 220 exp

Go back there when you are lvl 60 [/quote] As long as you can hit them and kill them in roughly 7 (?) hits, sniping at crossroads at 55-60 is awesome exp. Heck, I did it til 70 but it got really bad after 64. Go back when you can hit them 100%, and do average, but not overkill damage.

The map in crossroads (not sure if this is what the map's called) before elder wraiths have WRs you can snipe. It's not as good as lower ascent, but it's still decent exp.

Straw target dummies are in Mu Lung, right of the town itself. I would not recommend going there at your level anyway. Why don't you CPQ? Fastest way to 50. Or LPQ, that's fun. You could go to STD's at lvl 51 if you wanted to. I'm not sure about sniping WR's at all cause I've never had a crossbowman.

You can hypothetically start sniping them anytime, as long as you snipe from the lower platform the WRs don't spawn on. The exp isn't as good as sniping them as they spawn, but you need to hit 100% for that. I started doing that right a lvl 51 and I did just fine.

Just a tip for crossroads, when you stand behind the little hanging target sign you can't get hit and then you can just snipe awayyyy

LMPQ/CPQ2 are both very good options aside from grinding. I didn't go to windraiders until I was 70.
