Is i7 worth the money over i5 or Core 2 DDR3 of the same GHz? What are the pro's and cons? Note: Xeon is out of my price range. Edit: for gaming

i7 920 is the only i7 thats worth it. don't even bother with the 960.

i7 920 al the way! that processor is AMAZING! Ive got one running @ 4GHz paired with a GTX 275 and its blazing fast. Its probably 4-5x faster than my older Q9600
