So I just got my bowman to lvl 29 and need some help with a few things: 1. I really like crossbows, except I hate the speed, does booster help this a lot? 2. Does AB make up for freezer/blizzard? 3. Does arrows affect hit damage? i.e. diamond arrows give +attack, when you hit the enemy with your bow/xbow, does it add damage or just like no arrows please and thank you in advance and any help would be greatly appreciated

1. Yes, booster helps a lot. 2. No it's not as good of a mob controller as blizzard/frostprey 3.Yes it does, unless you use soul arrow, then the attack boost is 0 even if you have diamond arrows in your inventory.

1. Booster is really great, and eventually, you wont notice the difference in attacking speed. 2. Nothing is as good of a mob controller as Blizzard and Frostprey (imo), with the exception of maybe puppet. 3. Yes, diamond arrows do add attack as do stars for sins, but they cannot be recharged, and arent worth the room. Since Soul Arrow is going to be used frequently, Attack arrows are not worth the price one pays to have them. (The attack bonus cancels when using SA) Early gratz on advancement.

I kinda wanna make a xbow man, but kevvl stopped my thread that was asking wether to be a xbow or a bow with a sticky that decided for me, it said I should be a hunter, and what about hurricane? is it better?

Look when you say better you need to specify like better at (insert word). i.e better at bossing?, better at training? No class is better than another they are only better at doing some things than other classes.

Well, both have their uses. Hurricane is really nifty and provides High dps on small mobs and single monsters, while Peirce hits hella hard on larger mobs. Se allows both classes to easily get into boss runs, though i think its a tad easier for Bms. Both classes have their strong and weak points. Bms have high dps, constant kb, and one of the strongest summons in the game, while MMs also have huge dps, are great at bosses with maxed snipe, and have the best immobilizing summon in the game. Both classes have their pros and cons, but up till 3rd job are remarkably similar.

I guess both, I might horntail/zakum, and obviously I will train

Well, seeing as both classes have Se, getting into boss runs wouldnt be too much of a problem. The only difference between the 2 would be that a Bm would spam hurricane at zak/ horntail, and an MM with maxed snipe would be spamming strafe with a 200k hit every 5 seconds (assuming max snipe). As for training, both classes again have their pros/cons. Bms would tend to focus on smaller mobs, while MMs concentrate on larger mobs, with the ability to immobilize them with blizz/ frostprey. As for bossing, both classes are essentially the same with the exception of attacking skills. As an MM, you might get some bias, and have issues finding good bossing runs, but if you have connections, it wont matter.

Ask yourself this. "Do I want a machine gun like attack that attacks continually and monsters in front of me have a hard time attacking assuming there's no mob (hurricane) or a bazooka like attack that deals a bunch of damage on a mob (pierce) and a sniper like attack that one hit kills (snipe)?"

Does ToT count as large or small mobs because I plan on training there after 13x or so, and what about skele and newtie?

Well, as far as i know, both classes are compatible training at ToT. I know that MM's can train at skeles, pretty sure Bms can too. And for Newties, I know that Bms and MMs can. Im a bit fuzzy in aspects to training, for i dont have much 1st hand experience, but im pretty sure the training guides explain it pretty well.
chiualbert : Does ToT count as large or small mobs because I plan on training there after 13x or so, and what about skele and newtie?
ToT have huge mobs. Bowmasters don't really train there because of their huge weapon defense and bowmasters aren't nearly as good mobbers as marksmen. See this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHHtpReSE6o

Personally, I really like how bows look, but MM seem so much stronger than BM, are BM better at training than MM anywhere? or does the superior mobbing abilities of MM making them far stronger training wise?
