Upgrading stars: is it really THAT much of a difference?

I am thinking of spending some money to buy steelies or ilbies to replace my sets of icies. Is that worth it? getting 4+ att (steelies) or 6+ att (ilbies) after spending millions when I could just use things like warrior pills? Btw I an not funded.

If you aren't funded, don't upgrade your stars, stick with icicles, perhaps the best, Meso to damage ratio stars by far. You are better off using warrior pills for a bit like you said.

Spending that money on other equips (attack wgs, better claw, etc) would be more beneficial than a few sets of stars.

It doesn't seem like a big difference, but in the long run, it does. But in your situation, since you're not funded, like Lurkerkiller said, stick with the icies. And like akuma said, quantity>quality.

Save your money, 2 sets of steelies are nice, but won't last you very long. Use it on a better att WG or something to make up the difference in Weapon attack from your icicles and steelies.

The primary purpose of your stars is so that you're able to train. The more sets you have, the longer you can train; it's a given. The extra ATK boost from the stars alone does not decide the difference between an x hit KO and a y hit KO, x and y being any number in sequence, it's only when you combine them with other items that they make a noticeable difference. Anyway, you have better things to save up for than silly sets of stars, especially with your low funding.

[/quote] uhm. actually 2 sets is enough till lvl 65-70. you can recharge after 2 CPQ matches. and after a times of LMPQ.

5 att wg is 5 mil. +5 att to all your stars for 5 mil or +4 att to one of your stars for 6 mil. Your choice.

Pre scrolled they are that cheap, if you scroll them yourself, then they aren't.

2 sets of stars hardly last that long... especially after you get SP. If you don't have enough to upgrade by MANY stars (12 sets at least) then it isn't very worth it... but yeah your better off upgrading equips.
