MS has become a much more hostile game which is often times caused due to class issues. Personally, if you do not like the new classes, if you think the new classes are overpowered, if you dislike new content (which does not replace old content. I.E. Neo city replaced Tokyo=fail) then I think you should find a different game. The new areas and classes expand the overall development of the game and increase the options the player has to partake in different aspects of the game. Calling yourself a "real mapler" for being an original class is a laugh at best. Aran's Cygnus Evan's Dual Bladers and any other new jobs are just as real as Warriors thieves pirates bowmen and magicians. Many times it is because the player is lazy, so they refuse to make additional classes to explore the new aspects, and through this laziness, the people complain about their jobs. For the most part I will see warriors complaining about Aran's, Shadowers complaining about dual bladers and Mages complaining about almost anything. What gives me the right to judge adventurers vs. new classes? Well... I have 3 3rd job adventurers a 4th job adventurer 4th job aran 120 dawn warrior and more... I am fairly fluent in all classes training procedures as well as their skills and power. I have a very fair comparison from personal experience rather than splurged facts from random people. Warriors Original warriors still have the highest HP in the game and is the class best at bigfoot, however, I see a lot of warriors complaining that Arans are overpowered. Now, I can see from a pole arm DK's Point of view that they are practically replaced, but that was a rare class to begin with due to spear DK's being stronger. If you make a weaker class version of a class on purpose, please do not complain when a new release makes it seem even worse. Aran's can barely HT at 200 with HP washing, while most warriors have enough HP for HT by level 120. The end game for arans is very uneventful which mostly consists of grinding at skeles/O4 for nigh 100 levels with BF inbetween if you can find an HB mule. Heroes DK's and Paladins have many training options as well as being powerful up to 120. They are also able to bigfoot which is a much better alt to training. Shadowers Please stop whining about dual bladers being so godly amazing, as mentioned above just like arans, they will barely be able to boss due to their low HP and high movement of their skills. They are great mobbers just like Arans and have pretty good damage which is nice for training, but they still have a boring endgame. Shadowers have fun skills which no classes even get similar to, they are not meant to be an extremely large DPS class, however they can do 70-120 faster than any other funded class. With this skill rebalancing, shadowers are going to be amazing at training as well as still be decent for bosses so you will get your prize soon enough. Mages You all have AOE's which permits you to reach level 200 faster than any other class. C

What kbcrat said, while its sad that others must complain that other classes seem 'stronger' or 'are able to train faster' or 'boss better'. Let me ask the majority of the Maple Community, why should YOU care. You can choose to play or not play any classes you wish. Don't bash other classes or even new classes that haven't even come out yet. With that said, I do agree with you.

All of the above is true. Perhaps you could expand this to include perspectives from other jobs, such as CK/Aran/Evan/Bowman/Pirate/NL? I'd be willing to help if you wanted to. I've played through a F/P, Chief Bandit, Night Lord, Night Walker, and even tested out Dark Knight, Gunslinger and Brawler.

I dont think you should say that as it kinda seems like you're saying "Polearm dks sucked already so its fine that arans replaced you guys cuz you guys were made to suck" I know you dont mean it that way but it just sorta gives people the impression that you think polearm dks suck lol.

[/quote] That is probably a much more direct idea of what I was saying, but yes, I think in comparison to spear DK's they are much worse, but that's ok ask any hybrid polearm or spear dk and they will agree, all the pole arm dk's I have met before have made it for a pride thing, not for power. They made the class fully aware they would be "weak".

If people want to complain, and fight, and be jealous, I say let them. They'll be too busy fighting to actually kill the rest of the mini-bosses that they're fighting about, then I'll sneak in, kill, and leave.

This post wasn't what I thought it would be about lol. But I agree, I see no reason for any class to gripe over another. You do what is enjoyable to you, they do what's enjoyable to them, what's the harm? Judgments are implicitly subjective so putting down another class is really like forcing someone else to accept your own views. Of every class maple made was completely useless, they wouldn't have made it. People have different views what "useful" is, whether it be fun factor, bossing, or just looking cool.

Heck, I played a PERMA. My first character was a PERMA. (heck, you probably saw her, I lost the password to that basilmarket account). In my personal opinion I think that all classes have their strengths and weaknesses, and if you put all of them together in one guild, they can probably take down Pink Bean. That's just my thought there.

Hahaha "and Mages complaining about almost anything." Personally (can't speak for everyone, of course) I don't run into a lot of mages that fit that description. Yet it strikes me as absurdly funny anyway though. lol The only thing I usually hear mages complaining about a lot is their lack of effective bossing skills. I still can't speak for everyone, this is just me. I don't normally care a whole lot about the new classes myself. Usually I just give them a try for a bit, decide they're not for me and go back to more interesting ones. I also tend to train uncommon classes in unusual training places, so I don't usually have to deal with KSers either. I'm really just interested in enjoying the game, not being better than everyone else. It's too much effort and stress to be the best.
