White Scroll help please?

Okay so I read what it does but how can you use it? What I mean is do you click and drag it on the item? If you do that what happens? Are you free to use the other scrolls on it without the slot being used up? Please I don't want any smart aleck remarks.

U have the white scroll in your inventory right. You use the scroll on your item, a box will appear asking if u want to use a white scroll u click yes if it fails u dont lose a slot . thats basically it

as they all said^^^ but that suck thing is, even if the scroll works, you still lose the White Scroll.
