| Depends on the user. Some people find it useful as a "fail-safe" and some people rather spend those points in other skills. Once you get to 3rd job, try it out and see whether you like it or not. |

| Eh, I don't use it that much, maybe at skeles though. I generally try to get in good positions where they are a distance away from me and frozen. |

| I think it's similar to PKB in that you can easily get used to not having it, but once you max it and start using it a lot you wonder how you ever lived without it. |

| I love having maxed mortal blow. It replaces the bow whack with a pretty strong arrow and has a chance to 1hko a monster. It has come in handy in alot of training situations. But, being you're an xbow, it might not be as useful since anything that tries to get too close you can freeze and walk alway from anyhow. I would look up mortal blow on the Archer skill build guide in basil, it's very helpful about explaining why some builds are better than others. |

| Max MB helps a lot during training when the monster gets close to u and u Ohko it xD. It speeds up training for me. |

| when the monster get close to you, isnt way easier just to use dragon breath to push them back? |

|
DesireSombre : when the monster get close to you, isnt way easier just to use dragon breath to push them back?
Dragon's breath has a minium range, so it doesn't work if monster spawns on you. Then again, if a monster spawns on you, one MB arrow isn't good enough to KB the monster far enough for you to shoot anyway. In that situation you just want to either move back or use PKB. |

| I'd max it, where else would you put the points? leave eagle around 15 or 20, have 10 or 15 thrust and max mb. |

| i'd say leave it at 5 because it's never really all that useful since you'll be at typhons most of 3rd job and at 4th job you get dragon breath. also, it can still dc you (happened to me a few times) and all the other skills are more useful (atleast when inferno gets burn effect). |
he's a sniper so he won't put blizzard past 21 so free 9 points there. it is useful the only archers who say it isn't is the one's who are still at typhons where the only useful skill is AR/AE. you won't stay in typhons forever and mb is very useful at skeles and ToT. Again DB does have a minimum range and you don't really use it to knock back monsters but to form mobs. |

| You can't live without Mortal Blow... While training at skeles I found it to be very useful. High damage, replaces crappy bow whack, can OHKO and FOR CHRIST'S SAKE, DRAGON BREATH HAS A MINIMUM RANGE! To those that say it's useless, you're either too low level, at typhons, or have never maxed it before... |

People tell me you can't live without PKB either, but it's just things you get used to. It's like, when you don't have it, you'll find other ways, while if you do have it, you wouldn't know how to live without it. |

| Ive got maxed MB and I love it. Since it nearly always gives an instant 1HKO or an arrow that hits well over 10k. It speeds up training, but its all up to you if you want to max it or not. |
