| I'm level 72, and my bishop freind told me to solo at himes. I can't go there, becuase they kill me in 1 hit w/o MG. What is a good level to start soloing at himes? If at all. |

| Max Shining Ray first, train at mp3 till 75 or move to Death Teddies/Twisted jesters till 80-85 then straight to Gallop solo/party, Himes is slower IMO. |

| No, never solo himes that early. And it's probably better to get max SR first and then solo galloperas. 45k hp for 2500 exp each, and they attack you slower than himes do. If you really want to solo himes, try to get SR first, and wait until you have decent hp, or hp gear yourself for it. Edit: Wait till 85+ is my recommendation. It's still faster for you to party with someone at himes anyways. |

| In my old days, Priests were recommended to have at least one point in ER(Elemental Resistance) as well. Is that still up-to-date? Also, solo-hime is pot-consuming and you WILL have to use MG there, especially when you solo. Once it's maxed, the SR damage is way better and more stable than the heal damage you do to them. And while you're SRing, MG saves your life. Literally. I agree with gtbROX though, Gallos should be better than Himes. |

Gallops is fun too, you can lag and not die at gallops, whenever I lagged at himes I'd die. |

| As a level 66 Cleric, I have 1320 HP. I can survive 1 Hime attack without Mg; only using Invincible and Bless |

| Himes solo wouldnt be efficent until early 8x anyways, which you should party with an attacker until you can Solo/Party gallop efficently. |

| Okay .... First thing off Himes DOES NOT hit you with an elemental attack. It is 100% physical. I don't understand where this is coming from. I went to himes when I was 60 off and on and I can assure you once I hit priest and added 1 point into ER, the damage that himes did to me was still the same without ER. And it is recommended by me and my other bishop friend to start soloing himes at level 90. And that's what with funded equips. Otherwise train with an attacker cause it is faster for you to level. How you want to train is is mob all the himes and go to the left or right and heal them to death. I wouldn't recommend SRing at all when you solo them. It is slower. Trust me, I tried both methods and I am soloing himes at my level whenever I have the chance to play the game. And lastly, it is an OPTION once you have enough HP to train without mg. I recommend it only if you do not lag while playing the game. |
Yeah I never really noticed a difference in himes damage when I had ER and without, but regardless, it's always best to put 1 in ER early on because not all the monsters you encounter will be nonelemental like himes, like if you ever want to do a paps party, and maxed ER is really helpful at zak. By physical I hope you're not saying that it's touch damage, because if so, it's magic damage. I know this because when I himes on my wk with pg on I take like 900 damage touch and when they slap I take like 1400 damage.
Mora : And it is recommended by me and my other bishop friend to start soloing himes at level 90. And that's what with funded equips.
Well if you're following the method you stated of just healing, you only need to be around lv 80 to solo himes, and if you're funded enough it wouldn't be too bad anyways. These days I see lots of really funded priests running around anyways. I guess less funded people would have to wait until a bit later, unless you have a friend with mw 20/30. These days I have friends to mw buff my characters when I train. |

And yes, I was talking about the slap damage, not the touch. And have you considered that you have a higher defense than mages? Because it is simply faster if you get a higher or same level attacker who can kill it faster. Plus, the exp you get around level 80 is quite substantially still okay. |
