I don't get Anime/Manga

Is it just me, or does about 90% of Basil love anime/manga? I've never really understood why people like it. The only one i've finished watching is Sailor Moon, and that was for different reasons. *Put the poll to see how many people actually love it.*

its just based on opinion manga/anime are basicly an asian thing and 90% of basil are asian so yeah....

I really only read manga anymore, since it takes less time and HD space. The reason I find it so appealing is because it's targeted towards my age and they've got fresh and interesting storylines (at least the ones I read).

Because it's entertaining. Pretty sure you can't read a novel about fighting supernatural demons with giant swords and incredible powers without going 'wtf?'. Manga, on the other hand, can provide that thrilling cinematic experience without being too degrading. It's not fine literature, for sure, but it's still a very likeable source of entertainment... a handful of mangas are pretty thought provoking, too.

I enjoy it, but my tastes are actually pretty different from most people's. I'm sure no one here has heard of Baccano!, the Pulp Fiction of anime.
