I need a good fps game that works I tried Counter strike But i really dint like it cuz i was confused , dunno how to play (1.6) I tried Combat arms , I liked it but then it got lame I tried WolfTeam the screen apears in black (I really wanted to try it) I tried Alliance of the Valiant arms, it lags our internet. Any suggestion then does ^? Edit:Im playing crossfire atm but its starting to get boring. And i want games that im not supose to buy ._.

get Source its a lot more user friendly, its more of a leisure FPS not for competitive gaming (because the hitboxes lag a little) BUT! almost 30 million play it every day constantly. plus there a lot of fun mods that you will enjoy like RPG, Surf, Deathmatch, WoW, Warcraft, Mini-game, and Deathrun. the game will take up a lot of space because you download every custom map there is so make sure you have atleast 10gigs of space

LOL. That's a lot, not saying I don't have enough but 10GB to download? THat'll take more than 4 hours..for me at least.

What does FPS stand for? Well according to your list of games I believe you are looking for a shooting game. I recommend Warrock. Graphics and all are really excellent, but I mainly like it because the maps are really nice. Compared to other shooting games I played, these maps are much more realistic and detailed in terms of being able to go in buildings, rooftops, and etc. besides the outside.

There aren't even 20 million steam users. Check yo' numbas, foo. CounterStrike:Source is basically a more graphic intense version of CS1.6 - the objectives are the same, just more 'advanced' graphics. It's also noob-friendly because the hitboxes are extremely large, in comparison to 1.6. Meaning : You have more chance getting a kill in Source, than you do 1.6. 1.6 isn't too confusing, there's objectives, just follow the team around till you get a feel for it. On maps with the tag de_(mapname), it's a bomb map, the Terrorists attack and plant the bomb, Counter-Terrorists play defense and guard the bombsite. On maps with the cs_(mapname) tag, CT's play offensively to get the hostages, which are being guarded by the T's who play defensively. Anyway, I guess try SuddenAttack, it's basically another free FPS like Combat Arms. edit: @ oimie FPS = First Person Shooter, in regards to games. It can also mean Frames Per Second
