Actually, I think the slot machine from StarFox is the hardest boss ever, darn thing took me an hour and a half to kill once.

The final boss of Sonic 3 I believe is hardest. One hit and you're dead. The Egg-Stomper I think it's called.

Meh? It doesn't look that hard or that interesting. From the looks of it you hold down the attack button and thats about it. No strategy needed. Final fantasy bosses now they were both hard and fun. Took strategy and tactics and were interesting to watch too. An example being fighting ultimecia at the end of final fantasy VIII. To articulate those moves precisely with the pattern with not even a second gap would take months if not years of practice. Final fantasy a challenge? That's a laugh.
