116 Hermit Need help choosing Claw

I have never funded a hermit before so I am pretty clueless on claw prices / upgrades etc. I am 4 levels away from 4th job now, what kind of claw should I be looking for? I mainly just need help finding a claw.I predict this will be my 2nd to last if not last claw. I am a high dex sin with around 100 base dex. I have about 120 total from my equips so far. I am using clean casters right now. I was planning on either a red craven or reverse. For the red craven how are they usually priced? Like price per each 30% that worked or 5 atk? For the reverse, what kind of dex equips should I aim for?

A good Red Craven will cost you around 200-500mil. Or you can try to scroll one for cheaper. I'm not doing that right now as I am 10%ing + WSing a Casters of mine. Its currently 60 att 4 slots un/hm. If you want to get a reverse it will cost ALOT of money. Since making it is very hard I suggest a Craven instead.

What atk would be considered Decent and above avg for Craven specifically? (as in how many (+5 atks) should be landed?)

I believe a 66 attack hammered Craven is considered Decent/Pretty good (costs about 250~300Mill). What I think is, anything 15~16 attack above average is reasonably decent you can get a 62 u/h craven for about 100Mill. If your looking for anything better, a 68attack hammered craven is about 500Mill or there about. (Bare in mind these prices are from broa so may vary). Disclaimer: I'm not saying these claws are good endgame claws, but endgame funding is a bit far away for people like us, for now.

only prices i know for craven are 70+ atk ones. in bera: 70atk hammered = 700m, +200m for every extra attack. it would be easy if you wanted to wear dex equips and go for the reverse. you only need 60 dex from equips. get a: 15 dex zhelm 15 dex sauna 1 dex broken glasses 5 dex MoN/depstar 8 dex blackbelt (3 100% scrolls) 8 dex snoeshows 8 dex earrings

[/quote] What's so funny about him having 100 base dex I have 117 and do pretty good damage with my hermit and I'm 10 levels under him. And you check the thief damage range mine isn't to far from the people that are around my level.

[/quote] He's asking what claw should have, with 100 base dex he could easily wear the reverse one, and has higher attack than a craven. * Having high dex base makes maplewarrior less effective, along with the TT and SE formula, not to mention the apples..

Craven, because: - You can trade it after you have used it (unlike Reverse) - Generally cheaper (+20att on top of average is cheaper than one of that on a reverse) - Easier to find a scrolled one (?) A reverse weapon should be your end game claw, for now a craven is way better.

My hermit has 110 base dex which was considered regular/low dex at the time i capped (year and a half ago). Without any atk pots my range is 1337-2342 (yes, 1334 range lol). But i consistently hit from 4-6k on jr. newties and out-damage alot of dexless sins my lvl. REG DEX FTW.

I would get a 6x att craven and use untill you can forge a good reverse. if you're in khaini I can sell you a 62 att craven (or sell it in MTS)

100 dex is low dex. I'm lvl 78 and with 110 dex. That's considered reg. dex. Get a 6x att craven!
