So, Long story guys. A few months ago, my good friend's ipod touch got stolen. But on the exact same day, this guy (which noone really trusts) got a new ipod. My friend and I investigated his ipod, and it had the same scratches as my friend's. He said he got it at the skate park, but he told my friend that he got it from the mail. He also said that he got it with like 100 songs, and he said that he'll sell it to my friend for 50 bucks... (FUX HIM). We told the teacher and the teacher called him mom, and his mom said that he got it at the skate park. So we couldn't do anything. Last friday, my friend took the ipod while it was charging, and took it home. He checked his ipod box and it had the exact same serial number. My friend came to school today and told me about it. We told a teacher and the teacher told the principal to investigate. The principal asked the guy who stole if he took it, but he still said that he got it at the skate park. We also found out that he jail-broke it (my friend wants it legit, or atleast it's another excuse :P) and told the principal that he did it, and how he lost the warranty for the ipod repair. The principal said he will see into it. My friend told me that he wants them to buy him a new one. (Great idea, i'd say) When we came up, he talked to my friend's twin brother and he told me that he's saying that im telling everyone not to like him... And soon, he started crying and he told most or all the girls (he has no guy friends) about how i'm telling everyone not to like him, which im not. Do you think he's crying because he knows he's screwed? or something else? Thanks for taking the time to read this. But what should we do tomorrow? :s

His fault, mainly because he "stolen" the iPod. But with the same serial number it's obviously a evidence of a stolen property. Karma got what he deserve : .

The author also said he's in 8th grade, so he probably doesn't have a job. What if this child's mother makes him pay the money for the new iPod? In that case, $300-$400 is quite a large amount, especially a person of that age.

[/quote] Bit too far, we're trying to keep the situation under control, trying to limit the people who knows and... not trying to start a war here. @Above, my friend said that he had to pay for it with his allowance :s, he also had 150$ stolen from him about a month ago.
