It's not as easy fixing hacks as you think. It's not like they have a button where they just can press 'hacks off'.

in my opinion they should shut maple down for 1 week or even 2 and fix all the problems at once and when they ar done just open it again -.- its just annoying to play maple right now

I quit maple till nexon fixes all those glitches, hacks and other stuff.. It's no fun losing all his items and seeing gm's giving out their info..

well first off hacks are alterations of the code and freezing certain values, to stop hacking is impossible as much as i hate to admit it, and cut them some slack they are changing everything around a lot with the whole initialization of the pic as well as the pin services they introduced. Also they are trying to have maple run through their site which would help to cut back on the hacking because it would be harder to link hacking programs to the game. In short shutting the game down for 1 or 2 weeks would just give us a day or 2 of no hacks because hackers would just rummage through the code again and start hacking. Besides hacking has gone down a lot and its an online game and all of our info is in their servers full security is impossible. Although if they got on the fixing of all the bugs and glitches a bit faster would be nice but i can understand them waiting a bit to see what else shows up before they shut down the game for a fix.
