Old items forgotten and abandoned

Don't you think that MS has abandoned too many of its items. How once having a level 70 or 80 hat was considered good, now its just Zhelms or Scarlion ones.

what do you expect, people these days prefer godly damage and stats, why would they trade a 3~4 str level 80/90 hat for a 15 everything zhelm :/

i still dont mind wearing some of them for looks casually but when it comes to stats the better choice is obvious

Maybe have Nexon put in the leveling scheme similar to the Timeless and Reverse weapons/armour but with less benefits (only for job specific equipment, like no Work Gloves, Bathrobes etc.)?

Items Forgotten: Blue/Red Bone Helm ORIGINAL Pumpkin Basket Blue MS Dana 06' (Only saw two people with it during that event) All helms replaced by Zhelms/Scarlions/Targas Maple Flag Independence Day Hat Stars and Stripes There are a bunch more I can't remember right now. Making armor was only possible from ppl like Gordon in El nath, that one dude in Sleepywood, etc. Also it was much harder since it required a more wide variety of materials. After Lv70+, you had to solely rely on drops to get ur equips.

Why do you guys love me? lol Anyway, yeah. I HATE the look of zHelms. If it wasn't for the stats I would always wear my class specific helm. I think they look better.

MapleStory has a lot of stuff in general that never gets used, either because it's not worth the effort, rendered obsolete, or just flawed design. To name a few more... * 90% of Victoria maps and hidden streets. * Skills like Shield Mastery (Bandit) and Final Attack: Crossbow. * Some PQ's (I think OPQ's pretty abandoned now). * King Pepe scrolls. * Defense gear and scrolls. * Maker NPC's. * Every throwing star between Subis and Icies. * Healing bonuses on chairs and special maps like saunas.

Oh man I remember when Work Gloves were only 1m max for clean from the Maple Island quest, Zhelms were the Helm race finish line and Spiegelmann's Necklace was worth quite a bit just for +2 stats as it was the ONLY necklace, apart from HT one. Icys were 1m, Steelies were 11m for real and Ilbis were beyond 22m. Ahhh..good times
