help in running ms on vista

Ok I have Windows Vista on my laptop. I tried to download maple story but it says that it is not compatible. Where can i get a site to download ms on Vista?

Just use normal dl. It works fine for me. Just don't use compatibility mode and running as admin is optional.

You can play on Vista. I am and it works fine.

it worked with windows 7 for me, so it should work for you with vista. When you run the game, just click run program, ignore the message, it'll work.

Ok guys its still nor working! Ill tell you what I do >open nexon folder >click on maple story app. >then it says this program has compatibility issues >I still click run program >then it says cannot find ijl15.dll please reinstall app.

Right click your maple properties and check your compatibility mode.

It doesn't say "it's not compatible", but rather it's telling you that MS has known compatibility issues on Vista. And TBH, I have yet to see one on my computer. Also, there should be a checkbox on the bottom left that will make it never pop up again. Once you check that off, just run the program. Btw, if you run MS in compatibility mode on Vista, it will give you an 0x04 error saying that you running MS with ill intention. Edit: @one of your post: Seem like something went wrong with the installation. Uninstall MS through control panel, delete the C:/Nexon folder, and reinstall MS.

It depends on which Vista type you get. There is 32 bit, and 64 bit. People who can play maple have 64 bit. I hear there is some way around it, but I'm not sure.

lol ms used to work fine on mine and I was vista... Heck I barely got any dc from any hakers too 0-o but now i changed to Windows 7 =DDDDD

[/quote] I've played on both 32-bit and 64-bit of Vista and never once have any trouble play MS...This was done without any modification, tweaks, or some kind of work around. Also, that compatibility issue error pop up every time when you first install it on a Vista/Win7 computer.

I ended up asking a friend to upload their ijl15.dll folder onto a hosting site.

ok i am now reinstalling maplestory and trying it out EDIT: it said in between the nexon installer: cannot download dii? EDIT2: Ok the program is now running but after 1-2 minutes, it says that maplestory is not responding and disconnects by itself but it runs quite smooth while it logs on etc.
