Over Swing 20 vs 30

Hey, I just looked up the decriptions of Full Swing and Over Swing. Full swing seems to hit harder at 240% at max while Over Swing only hits 190% at max. I may be confused here and not understand it fully, so if your willing to elaborate; Thanks!

Overswing hits 5 times (including normal attack. Normal Atk > Double swing x2 > Triple Swing x2 Fullswing is 4 hits in total Normal Atk > Double Swing x2 > Triple Swing Technically, Lvl 1 Overswing is only a few % stronger then maxed fullswing but then you'd have an extra critical hit

Full Swing hits a total of 3 times excluding your initial normal attack and latter Final Charge, Final Cross etc. In between is where Full swing/ Over swing occurs. At Max Level Full swing hits: Level 20: Double Swing MP -12; 110% damage; attacks twice; Triple Swing MP -14; 350% damage. A total of 3 attacks. Over Swing at Lvl 1 is stronger due to attacking more times: Level 1: Double Swing MP -14; 112% damage; attacks twice; Triple Swing MP -16; 186% damage; attacks twice. Over swing attacks a total of 4 times, the first two attacks twice at 112% each hit and the 2nd two hits at 186%. 186 x 2 = 372% damage combined. Hope that helps.

Ahh I see. Also sorry for title lol. It was supposed to be full swing vs over swing. I was just curious because I was upgrading overswing when I read it and compareded it to full swing. Over swing at level 1 the last 2 attacks didn't hit as high as it did when I was using full swing so I got curious.

I, too was concerned about this. I noticed how the combined damage of OS1 on the "Triple Swing" portion didn't add up to the "Triple Swing" damage of FS30. But I wasn't thinking of how the criticals would affect the damage, as well. Either way, I like red over blue, and can't wait to get Over Swing. Both my favorite color, and looks better than Full Swing. :D Full Swing trips me up because I thought stabs would kill a PA's damage. -.-
