Why so racist, GMS?

Oh, how the players of Maplestory are racists. I, using the "tan" skin tone, am constantly discriminated against. I'm not kidding. Just today, some level 38 was talking trash (probably to show off to the NXho nearby) about how he's the best in all of GMS, how he beat his level 176 friend in PvP, and how he can win against anybody. So I called him on how there is no PvP in maplestory. He immediately begins using racial slurs. This isn't isolated, this happens to me all the time, and to other people who I know. So my question to you, GMS, is why so racist?

I'm tan myself but I make white characters for the same reason, people always think tan characters are uneducated from my experience. Like I don't speak english.

simple, the Anonymity of online games and forums of this sort allow you to display levels of ignorance that in daily life would be frowned upon or for that matter hv consquences. Therefore if ur a an idiot... an online game like this will only make it more so. But ya usaully they only respond with a racial slur when they lack a better argument.

Ignore it. I just don't use tan because I don't know, I personally don't find it appealing but I don't see any problems with the people who do use it(or have dark skin in r/l). (:

i know how you feel o.o my dit is tanned (long story) & i was buying mushie caps for a quest . this guy trades me & i said that i would pay 40k . and he says "ehh . 30k for you since your black" o_o' same thing with my friend . people keep thinking shes black (shes tanned) . & her ign clearly states "pinay"
