Recommended PC Games?

Well, I left MS about 1 month ago and I'm wondering what PC games I should play. My parents doesnt let me to buy games with violence. Well, so what kind of PC games should I get? I somehow prefer more of the 3D games. Any suggestions? (Preferably games you've played before though, and tell me something about the game too, if you like.) Thanks for the people with suggestions

No, I meant, not too violent lol. No blood gushing out of the body or whatever. Killing actions, yeah, that's okay. But my parents dont want to see blood.

Team fortress 2, if it's too "Gorey/bloody" (lol) for your parents, there's the censoring patch. It basically makes all the gibs into presents and random stuff. Best $20 I've ever spent.

L4D1 is the least gory game. L4D2 is pure hell if you don't like gore. HL2 and HL1 is good too. CSS and Day of Defeat Source and the original day of defeat and counterstrike

Comes with Portal which is really awesome being there's no blood(from what I recall) and there's cake at the end of the puzzles you complete.
