Remote Hack

| they literally kick u out of ur account while ur char is still logged in then they use ur ip address that probably took them 20 min to find. now they can drop or trade everything on that char but cant go on ur other characters cause they cant logg off |

| Well these threads r getting annoying, but as i mentioned on some thread last month where they were trying to get to the bottom of the hackings in khaini and others, the remote hack is done using RAT�s; Remote Access Tools. I won�t go to specifics since ive never actually used it but ill give u the overview. Basically, it�s a program used to take control of another computer system to gain access to various things, such as ms characters. With them, they can basically control your character or computer or w-e it is they want. This gives them control only though, they wont get any information unless they start dling keyloggers n trojans n such, which would explain why most were only robbed of the items on characters they had online at the time. In order for they to do anything though, they have to establish a link with the other persons computer. This is usually done through getting people to click on links on emails, download a program, etc, but i guess they found a way to establish a link when certain actions in ms are done or when certain packets are sent when doing things such as changing channels. This is all just if they�re using RAT�s though, which they most likely are, much more logical then what was brought up in january. |
