Hello Basilers, i am making this because i just got remote hacked in Bera under this character, iFadedd This is very real so listen up kids. 1. My guildmate who also got remote hacked which i didnt know at the time sent me a chat and told me to help them transfer, and CC to [specific] Channel. In this case, i was in 1 and they were in 2. 2. So i did as i was told, thinking to help them. I was then disconnected and my character was then controlled by THEM. 3. They only had about 3min, 5minutes max to do everything. and they closed my shop, took my nx from mts, took my scrolls, took my equips and only about 1.2 Bil in pure mesos which i had. 4. After their time was up, i could then log into my own character and realised all those above were missing. 5. Luckily this wasnt all of my stuff but i did lose around 5~6bil in items + mesos Sorry if this is a quick post, but i am trying to INFORM the basil community about what has been happening. As of yet, i have not been able to find an explanation, neither can my friends. So, just be alert when cc-ing and preferably relog to CC. Thanks for your time basilers and i hope this was useful !

Sure, tell people to be careful is fine but one point u said u're not sure and at another point, you said "it's real, believe me as if you have proof".

I got locked down, AKA Comp froze by some guy called DCR1C0 in Bera Ch 2 FM. At first he threatened to freeze my comp for 10mil, so obviously I rejected his offer. 2 sec later, my screen froze, and I had to restart my comp. Luckily none of my stuff has been jacked.

[/quote] What you mean why they got to kick you off? Er ever remote accessed with someone? I find it practically IMPOSSIBLE to "hack" someone while they have access to their account, man i thought it be pretty obvious to the Basil Community that Remote HACKING requires the hacker to be given a window of time to disable the owner's access to the account and strip it. Plus remote access is more believable now, with all the exploits currently being done in GMS, I find it not hard to believe that a programmer is able to exploit the game and remote access a certain player's cpu just by having them enter a channel in a specfic map. But regarding to any "why don't they just hack everyone in the channel in the current map?" ugh.. how would I know? I don't remote hack people and I don't have the slight clue of how they even pull it off but exploiting has limitations, like the TS stated they couldn't keep her off her account for more than the given interval of time which says that the hacker had to do it fast and can't delay it by keeping the TS off her account for the whole day.

What's with you guys asking for an SS. she explained that she got DC'ed. what are you going to SS? a screen of her desktop or maples login screen? And plus, why would she bother about lying. Perhaps they knew her information beforehand, and just D/C'd her when she cc'd then decided to hack her.

[/quote] Lol this my friend, is not the same as what happened to me. Yours is just merely disconnecting so you can't log in because your computer freezes if you try to get on because someone is spamming you. Also, if this helps, they might be targetting 'rich' people. I had an CH1 Fm1 door spot which got closed by the hacker in order for them to obtain the items that i held in there.

[/quote] Or they wanted to rush so they could hack another victim. Honestly, what do you think takes 3 mins and would kick you off? Nothing. Even hacking/cheating detections are either immediate or non-existant.
