Be Careful of the Remote Hackers.

With the new login system implemented, and with the recent hackings in the FM, it seems to be safe to say that the Remote Hack is, sadly, back with a vengeance. Well, what is the Remote Hack? It's a hack people use by requesting you change channels because the current channel(Channel 1) is laggy. Then when the victim changes channel, he is automatically disconnected, and the hacker is then free to take the victim's items and/or money. The victim cannot relog, as the character is still logged in until the hacker is finished and d/cs it. How can I protect myself? When selling things in the FM, be wary of things such as: "cc ch (number here), ch 1 is laggy." "cc ch (number here)" "can we move to a diff chan? I'm lagging." Closing statements Now I'm noting that these aren't an automatic guarantee that it's a hacker, but be wary nonetheless. Also note the name of the character saying this. It could be useful in compliling a list of known Remote Hackers. Considering Nexon's current state of affairs, I wouldn't expect this to be patched out any time soon, but who knows..
